Strippers vs Zombies

Is not as funny or sexy as you would think from the title. It is, however, a terrible terrible movie. It’s one of those movies that when you have finished watching it, you ask yourself why you spent the past 79 minutes of your life watching it. It is full of all the campy requisites: Bad acting, lots of gore (but even that is bad cause the f/x are really just no good) characters making stupid decisions, science gone wrong, and people trapped in a small space as they bicker and try to figure out what to do about the zombies knocking at the door.

In this one, they’re trapped in a strip club, which luckily for them is equipped with security cameras so they can watch as unsuspecting would be customers get devoured by the living dead. I could have liked this movie, but it was just too terrible. It was worse than one of those made for Skinemax movies about sexy message girls getting murdered and only the super hot detective duo (who aren’t dating, they’re just partners) can solve the case. Come to think of it, those movies are better than this one in terms of acting, special f/x, and skin shown.

Of course I don’t watch a movie to see skin, well I do, but it’s to see that skin being torn off by zombies and consumed, and there wasn’t even really much of that in this waste of celluloid.I give credit to the filmmakers though, just for the fact that they got this movie made. I wonder how they did that because this is one that should definitely never have been made.

How did we get it made?
We used our credit cards, because we wanted to make a movie. It was our first.

Hopefully you will like the next one we make better. 🙂

  2. Well, congratulations on achieving your goal of making a movie. Next time, maybe ditch some of the cheesy lines like: “I’m sick of all the motherfing zombies in this motherfing strip club.” It didn’t really work for Snakes on a Plane, and it didn’t work for the Strippers vs. Zombies either. Still, you did make a movie, and that is pretty awesome.

Evan and I watch “Zombie Strippers” which is a whole different movie. The fake news at the beginning was wonderful, but after most the strippers became zombies, it was much less pleasing. Have you seen that one?

  4. No, I haven’t seen that one. Fake news is always fun, but it doesn’t sound like it is worth watching just for that.
