Go here to read about, and listen to, some more of the nonsense and idiocy spewing forth from Sarah Palin’s mouth.
If you listen to the full length audio, I especially enjoy when she says that John McCain can win the war on terrorists. As if anyone can win a war against terrorists, just ask the British. Lest we forget, we are a nation born of terrorism. If the term existed then, and I’m sure it did, then that is exactly what the British would have called us. Or ask the Russians. They fought the Taliban and Al-Queda for years, and they had to pull out, and give up because they were unable to defeat the terrorist organizations they were fighting.
But go ahead Sarah, go on believing that John McCain can win the war on terror, stop the financial crisis, and cure cancer singlehandedly. And if it is true that John McCain knows how to win the war, then why hasn’t he shared that knowledge? It seems to me that it would be in the best interests of the country for him to share the knowledge that he has (knowledge that would end the war) with the military leaders and the current President of the United States. In fact, I would say that by keeping that information to himself he is not only further endangering us, but he is being a traitor.
That’s right, I said it, John McCain is a traitor if he has this knowledge of how to end the war and is not letting other people in on that knowledge. The only explanation for this withholding is that he wants the terrorists to win. I mean, if he didn’t he would tell President Bush, General Petraeus, and all others concerned what they need to know to end this mess and get us out of this. I mean, he claims we are his friends and that he cares about us, but what kind of friend witholds important knowledge that could help. If, for instance, I know that there is a fire that will burn my friend to a crisp if he opens a door, and I don’t tell him that there is a fire behind the door that will burn him to a crisp, can I really call myself his friend?
A friend doesn’t let a friend drive drunk, is the old adage. I would add a new one: A friend doens’t let a friend stay bogged down in a political and military quagmire that has cost billions of dollars and thousands of lives, when they have information and knowledge that could end the whole thing.
So just remembert that the next time John McCain calls you his friend, he knows how to win the war on terror and he refuses to share that information. Of course, if he did share it, that might make him a communist–or at least a socialist.
