So I was bored and on YouTube, so I decided that I would search for cheesy 80’s videos. I found some, and now I will share a few with you. They are not all that great in terms of songs or videos, but they are freakin’ hilarious, and I needed a good laugh. And in the interest of sharing a good laugh with everyone, here they are.
Ronnie James Dio Holy Diver–man Dio is so awesome. I think he shoulda been Conan, screw Arnold.
This one is from Kill Switch Engage…it’s not from the 80’s but it’s a cover of Dio. It’s not nearly as good as the original, but it does have its moments, and it’s campy as hell so I can appreciate that it’s a total mockery of the seriousness Dio lent to his work.
More Metal. This video from Iron Maiden–Run to the Hills is truly awful, but the song rocks. Not a hige Maiden fan, but this is definitely one of my faves.
The Cure Close to Me I especially enjoy the finger puppets and the clapping.
Another one from The Cure Love Cats there’s no denying this one.
Last one from The Cure, I promise. This one is a classic too. Let’s Go to Bed I wonder what happens at 3.

Duran Duran Hungry Like the Wolf
Duran Duran Wild Boys (the long version) I love the Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome styling in this one, with some undertones of Spacehunter Beyond they Forbidden Zone, Molly Ringwald’s first movie.
Rockwell Somebody’s Watching Me. I couldn’t find the original video, but at least this one has Rockwell and is without a doubt a product of the 80’s.
Human League Fascination. Yeah, I coulda gone with Don’t You Want Me, but that’s just too obvious.
And last, but not least, Thomas Dolby She Blinded Me With Science. I just love that old scientist dude, he cracks me up.
